I think it's hard to go wrong with a chorizo and egg breakfast burrito, but it was made fresh and hot while I was in a pinch to grab something quick. “ We finally found our go to! We just moved here from WA and though there are so many awesome taco shops in SD, we haven't found the one that's just perfect for us. This place was it! My son told me he'd eat their rice and beans all day everyday because it's so good. I tried the California burrito and the carne asada taco - both were delicious! Customer service is also superb. Very friendly atmosphere and being able to watch the Dodgers beat the Padres on tv while eating was a plus! (Sorry, not sorry Padres fans! Much love to you all though ) ”

“ First time at Don Roman Taco Shop and ordered the following Taco Tuesday Special: -2 Pork Carnitas tacos 4.5/5 -2 Adobada TJ tacos 4/5 -2 Carne Asada tacos 3.5/5 We added a shrimp cocktail on the side and two soft drinks. The Shrimp cocktail gets a 3.5/5 Our favorite were the pork carnitas and definitely coming back for these tacos. The pork tasted a bit like carnitas Uruapan (Michoacán, Mexico style) with a lot of flavor. I can tell these carnitas were cooked in pork lard why they tasted so good!LOL There's plenty of indoor seating with street parking. There's a park across the street where you can also park and walk off the tacos like I did. The service was good! Happy Yelping :) ”
